Hung Up will screen in person at 8:40pm ET Friday June 11th, 2021 at the 23rd East Lansing Film Festival in Michigan at the Celebration Cinema, 200 East Edgewood Blvd. in Lansing, MI. Our film plays in Shorts A, which screens for second time at 5pm Sunday, June 13th.

East Lansing Film Festival (ELFF), is the longest-running non-experimental in Michigan, showcases films from around the world. ELFF screens features, documentaries, and many shorts and student films. All festival films contend for Audience Awards. Cash Prizes will be awarded for the Best Feature, Documentary and Short Film. This year, ELFF celebrates its 23rd anniversary of showcasing independent films from around the world. Past visiting directors have included Michael Moore, Oliver Stone and Bruce Campbell.

Hung Up updates the modern-day cowboy mythology to a cowgirl mythology, telling the story of the injured-but-indomitable Patty "Duke," played by Ecuadorian-American actress Melissa Jackson. Also starring Kevin Kane as the cowboy "Travis," and Catherine Curtin as the rancher "Mrs. Squires." Stunts coordinated by Duke Largo and stunts by Adam Lucero.
